Mike is the Principal and Head of Development and Construction at DS Teamworks. Michael Tande brings over 30+ years of hospitality development and construction experience to the team. He possesses an extensive track record of success as a Project Manager.

Michael is currently the Co-Owner & Chief Operating Officer of McGuire Builders, Inc., and prior to joining McGuire, Michael served as Senior Vice President & Project Manager for Lowe Enterprises, Inc. (and Destination Hotels & Resorts). ​

Over his entire career, Michael has managed over 30 hotel construction and renovation projects across the country including challenging historic properties such as, Estancia La Jolla Resort & Spa, The Hotel Del Coronado, and the Langham Pasadena (formerly Ritz-Carlton) Huntington Hotel. Other well known projects include The Washington DC Fairmont, The Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire, St Regis Aspen, and the complete interior and exterior renovation of the historic Eden Roc Hotel and Spa, located in Miami Beach, Florida, just to name a few. ​

His most recent projects include the renovation of The Westin Snowmass Resort, a luxury hotel at the base of the Snowmass ski mountain in Colorado; new construction of the award wining 582-room Terranea Resort located in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; and new construction of the Lodge at Suncadia and Conference Center located in Cle Elum, Washington.   Mike’s well-founded understanding of project design and delivery brings an all-encompassing constructability and implementation perspective.
